Welcome to “On a Westley Breeze”.
The name comes from a beautiful and tranquil hamlet in Devon that holds a special place in my heart. It is nestled below the Haldon forest, with stunning views across the valley.
Camping out in my new sunroom amongst plants and boxes, I discovered a love for writing contemporary novels, quirky short stories and flash fiction.
It has opened my mind to the natural world, to deep emotions and the endless possibilities of story-lines. I love reading books I can escape into and take me on a voyage of discovery. To write that journey – forge a story with a beginning, its twists and turns through moments of happiness and heartbreak to a finale – is beyond magical.
